Blog vs Boss

I like the 'vs' for my subject don't I??? Whatever...

Taken your lunch?? The KFC’s X-Meal makes me sleepy already… LOL.

Am very excited and in the mood to improve my blog page since yesterday and if you notice, had managed to add in the following on my page :

1. Recent Comments
2. Calendar icon replacing the Post Date
3. ‘Counting Days’

Was in the midst of figure out adding in those cute smiley icons on my blogger posting board and few other things before my boss chase my ass on yesterday’s assignment that he passed to me via the Cosec!! If he starts chasing, then it means the assignment is really urgent!! Guess I have to concentrate on the assignments first lor… *sigh*

Two new + 1 existing assignments:

1. Information Memorandum on the company – this is tough as I do not have the format. Have to gather all the profiles and other samples as references.

2. List out in table form on all obligations as per agreement – do you think running through an agreement is fun?? *roll eyes*

3. Remember my post on Procedures vs Barriers?? After 3 weeks, I finally made it to the last step!! Phew… Calling the China Embassy is really pissed me off!! Grrr…

Better get back to my assignments now… just wanna scribble something that I enjoy before I get doze off with those assignments… *grin*

A Fairy Tales Story

What do you think of fairy tales stories? I love watching them so much. I remember I purposely woke up early during school holidays, so that I won’t miss them on air. I wish I could I have a collection of fairy tales stories in my house… *wink-wink*

Anyway, I would like to share another fairy tales story here. Read to the end and get the moral of the story. Enjoy reading guys.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question? What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first. The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus: What a woman really wants, she answered.... is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments? What would YOU do?

What Lancelot chose is below. BUT, make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY?

Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now.... what is the moral to this story?

The moral is..... If you don't let a woman have her own way.... Things are going to get ugly!! LOL

Blog and Get Paid by PayPerPost

I always enjoy in reading ppl & friends’ blogs before I started my very own blogspot account a mth ago. I never really bother bout blogging all this while. A post by a friend of mine that actually opened my eyes wide. We could generate an extra income by blogging??? Yeah… that’s definitely caught my attention!! I never know bout it ok!! If blogging can really generates extra $$$, don’t blame me for being greedy or mercenary! I just need some sources to simplify life I guess… Life is tough nowadays! Life = Monies! Especially living in KL!!

Back to track… That’s where I started my own blog, hoping that I can ease the burden. But of coz I have to really establish my blog first or in other words at least a mth blogging with at least 10 posts (if not mistaken!) before I can upgrade myself in this world of blogging where I can start looking around for paid post!

I ‘met’ the 3Ps via a friend’s blog. 3Ps or PPP stands for PayPerPost. Yaa… This is where I should start my new ‘career’! *wink-wink* It’s time!

“Get paid for blogging. You've been writing about Web sites, products, services and companies you love for years and you have yet to benefit from all the sales and traffic you have helped generate. That's about to change. With PayPerPost advertisers are willing to pay you for your opinion on various topics. Search through a list of Opportunities, make a blog posting, get your content approved, and get paid. It's that simple.” Here’s the brief desciption bout PPP.

Mmm… am still blur on the know-how even after I read the FAQ. I guess we never learn until we try it out, rite! So guys… let’s signup for PPP, look out for numerous opportunities, get approved and the money is yours!! No regrets!! *monies eyes*

p/s : A special thanx to KadusMama for being supportive & informative!

Now Everyone Can Fly

Any plan for travel next year?? Well… AirAsia is back with its FREE SEATS PROMOTION again! This time is for 1,000,000 FREE seats. Travel period will be from 1 Apr 2009 to 31 July 2009. Booking starts from today until 31 Aug 2008.

Since I’m in KL, I have to be extra alert on this kind of promotion. Yaa… need to grab the free seats to fly back to KK. Usually, I aim for festive season – Raya and CNY! Believe it or not, I already bought my this year Raya tickets since January this year!! And had my CNY one-way ticket confirmed since May this year!! Now you now how crazy I am in booking tickets since early of the year for year end trip??!! *roll eyes*

However, I am sure that I can’t make it for Raya this year even I already have the flights confirmed. Hubby and I and even my mum don’t want to take the risk for me being giving birth on the air!! So, bye-bye tickets!! Even for CNY next year, we are still not sure if we are able to go back. It all depends on baby’s condition. *sigh*

Wonder when will I get myself a Passport… so that I can start peep on others except KK!! Been dragging it for quite some times already. *double sigh* While hubby’s friends enjoy travel to Jakarta every year!! Geezzz… Really envy them lah!

Anyway, here’s few tips to get the FREE seats :

* Best time to log on is between 3am – 7am
* To rotate on shifts to log on to
* Avoid weekends and public holidays and try for mid week and mid day flights
* Try other new destinations if the desired destination is not available

Hurry up! Don’t wait any longer! Grab your tickets fast at or

Just A Lil' Suprise!!

Jeng jeng jeng… Got surprise by someone before? Or perhaps you did a surprise to your love ones?? I always enjoy in giving a ‘heart attack’ to ppl… LOL

My ever surprise that made up for my dearest mum was during Mother’s Day, more than 10 years ago!! Geezz…. I bought her a butter cake (her fav’ of coz)! She was so surprise when she came out from kitchen after we had our dinner that nite and saw a cake on the table at the living room. I must say, I am very bad in expressing my loves towards ppl. And of coz that cake as well as Cola Float made her happy and appreciated, I believe! Eventually, we called up my aunt (the closest one) who stayed nearby to enjoy the simple celebration… *wink-wink*

As for my dearest hubby… I always enjoy in buying him a shirt or tee-shirt ever since we were couple. Erk… I think I never bought him any shirt after we got married!! Huh??! That’s weird!! Wonder why… the so-called love feelings fade??? Oh no… Must do something!! And that is why I decided to launch a mission (ceh!!)… hehehe…

An idea popped up early of the month… Yeah… Need to do something great that never been done before!! While I was browsing for Kuih Raya, I came across these lovely and adorable cupcakes. So, I started to browse around for more info and choices. After the Q&A session via emails, I confirmed and placed my order! *grin* You might need at least 3 to 14 days booking in advance prior to the workloads of the bakers. In my case, 7 days!

The cupcakes were ready for collection on last Friday. Here’s the plan… I picked it up and met my bro. (Actually, you might as well consider to ask for direct delivery service with additional charges of coz!) Bro was to place the cupcakes on my hubby’s desk at office during lunch time!! Luckily, they are working in the same office!! For you guys info, I never send anything to hubby’s office all this while and this is my first time!!

The plan went very well!! According to my bro & hubby, as soon as hubby walked in towards his desk, colleagues were singing Happy Birthday’s Song to him!! LOL. When box was opened, he stood and stared at the cupcakes speechless and blushed!! Some friends even helped to ‘kipas’ him!! I surely can imagine how reddish his face turned in to!! Everyone was peeping at the cupcakes too!! They even ‘kepocih’ asking my hubby whether that day is any special dates of us i.e. anniversary, wedding anniversary, first time met, etc. None of them of coz! Do you think a surprise can only be done on a special or important dates???? Naaa… I think a surprise will only be a big surprise when there is actually nothing to be celebrated. Agree with me??

To be frank, I am actually worried that I might embarrass him by doing so. I don’t know… maybe I am just not used to do stuff like that. I am not a romantic person even I enjoy reading romance novels very much. It’s weird ok! However, I’m glad and happy that he actually likes it! *grin*

Here’s the cupcakes look like…

I am really bad in drawing. My sketch was sux! Of coz I gave the baker permission to improve or amend my sketch. Just 2 cents of mine anyway! The card was specially customised by me! So, what do you think of the cuppies??

p/s : A special thanks to Dida the baker of Sweet Yummy CupCakes for the cuppies…

Phew… half day gone!! Was quite busy this morning… But, nothing related to work!! Luckily the COSEC is on MC today (since yesterday). She accidentally sprained her neck!! Ouchh… Kes salah tidur la ni!! Wonder what am I busy with?? Wait till my next post yaa… *wink-wink*

Mmm… Boss did ‘visit’ me this morning. Following up stuff that he dumped over few months back. LOL. Sorry Boss! I did the tasks. Somehow, I still think that you are not really bother ‘bout it. And I guess I’m rite! Or else you sure will keep on chasing my ass, don’t you… LOL

For today, I just wanna share few pics that I supposedly post in my Climbin’ the Mount Kinabalu post. Have finally digged them from my album and scanned them. *grin*

Household Chores That I Really Hate

That’s the Tag by KadusMama need to be done. There are few rules involve in this Tag :

1. List down the household chores that you hate and the reasons why you hate doing it
2. Copy the image provided and tags as many people as you want
3. Add your blogs link to the domesticated divas linky love
4. Leave a comment at
Stripe and Yellow to be added to the master list and you're done

Ok, let’s see the household chores that I hate to do :

1. COOKING Never enjoy cooking since adult!! In other words, I don’t know how to cook!! Ex-housemates in 3B-1 sure know how bad I am in cooking… Sorry guys!! Till today, there is no improvement still!! Wonder who is doing the cooking after marriage?? Hehehe… Luckily, married to a lovely husband that enjoys cooking as much as he enjoys eating!! LOL Thanks Dear… *wink-wink*

2. MOPING – Seldom do the floor moping… Eventually, still have to do it… especially kitchen. Yaa… as much as my husband enjoys cooking… you know guys… He enjoys cooking in manoeuvre!! He loves it when Jamie is in action – Forgot the name of the show. So, I have to manoeuvre in moping too!! *sigh*

3. WASHING CLOTHES – Hate it when I have to wash all the big2 stuff i.e. towel, blanket, bedsheet and even jeans… Thanks to Louis Goldenberg who had invented the electric washing machine. *grin*

4. DUST CLEANING – You’ll never able to get rid of them!! The sec after you clean them, they are still there stubbornly!! Grrr….

5. IRONING – Sooo tiring standing for hours to finish the ironing… Plus if the material is ‘iron-proof’… you know what I mean rite…

Err… can’t think of anything else at the moment… Maybe later after I got my kids in the house then I’ll think of adding some chores to my list… *grin*

The Wedding Card, A Pair of Watch, Check-Up & Lee Chong Wei

Got few stories in queue for today’s entry… ^_^

Received a Pos Ekspres, yellow envelope last Friday… It’s a wedding invitation card from my dear friend, Sab… Her matrimony will be held on Aug, 23th at Stella Maris Church at 10am and the wedding reception will be right after the matrimony at KDCA at 1pm. I am very happy to receive the card which was designed and customized by her own. That’s the Sab that I ever known since 1998… She is such a creative person I would say… Glad that she has finally settled down with her loves one. Somehow, sad and regret that I wouldn’t be able to share the joy on her big day… really wanted to be there for her… But, with my 31-wk belly… it’s impossible for me to fly back to KK!! *sob* Don’t think any aircraft would allow me to board also… sure they do not want to take the risks for me being giving birth at their aircraft… *grin* Anyway… For Sab, sending you wishes from the bottom of my heart… May you have a warm and love-filled wedded life ahead!

For record, I missed quite a numbers of friends’ wedding invitations… namely - Azean, Mia, Fenella, Bernilda, Sherol, Jennifer, Betsy, Dayze… wonder who is next?? Sorry guys… Can’t help it!! There are few cousins and friends planning to have their big day next year. So, please let me have the confirmed dates earliest as possible for my annual leaves, monies and flights arrangement ok… hehehe…

It has been quite some times that hubby and I were looking for a pair of watch for both of us. But, we both keep on dragging it. And finally, we bought it at Jusco on last Sun. *wink-wink* It’s not that pricey… After all, it’s not about the price ok! We just need a watch that has a date on it… as simple as that… and of coz’ the look of the watch lah! Can actually grab it at pasar malam with RM25 above for female and RM40 above for male… but, of coz’ without warranty lah!! So, why not opt with the one with warranty if the price differences are only ‘round RM20-RM40 per watch…

I think 4 stories are enough lah for the time being… Still owe KadusMama a tag on the House Chores and pics from my previous posts… ^_^

I actually enjoy buying RM10 watches at pasar malam… because of the design. Of coz we can’t comment on the quality of the watch… if you are lucky enough, the watch will last for a year… Otherwise, it will runs out of battery in less than 3 months… Even you changed a new battery, it wouldn’t last long as well… either because of the watch’s machine or the battery itself!! So, what you pay is what you get!! That is why I enjoy the pasar malam’s watch coz I can change my watch at least 2 - 3 times a year… LOL… Now that I’ve decided to have a watch with a date on it, I prefer not to have to pasar malam one…*grin*

Hubby was on MC yesterday. He’s having flu and headache. Poor hubby… So, I took my Malas Cert as well. I even changed my pregnancy check-up which is supposed to be today to yesterday.

Arrived at clinic at 8.30am and my lucky no was 1023!! 23???!!! Huh… no choice but have to wait… *sigh* Spending 2 hours at the clinic before we went to Klinik Idzham for our MC. Wonder what I bluffed for my MC??? Back pain!! That’s the only excuse I can think of for a preggy woman… LOL. We used to obtain our MC from the clinic, Dr. Zahiyah to be specific… She is a nice, polite and not stingy in giving MC… that’s the best part… ;p

Oya… the result of the glucose test is out. My glucose level is normal… So, nothing to worry about ok… *grin*

Just want to congratz Lee Chong Wei for the Silver medal that he has contributed to Malaysia in the final Single Badminton match with Lin Dan in the Olympic. His performances were sux!! But, I believe he already tried his best… Lin Dan is ‘Super Dan’ still!! Wonder if Chong Wei still plays for Malaysia in Olympic London in 2012… huh…

Alah Bisa, Tegal Biasa

*Phew* Been quite busy since this morning… not that busy coz sempat jugak gatal tu tangan mau browsing the net… *grin*

The Finance Manager called up and asked me to assist her in preparing an analysis for the Exchange Rate for USD currency since Aug last year… Actually, I just need to copy & paste the figures coz it has been my routine to track the Exchange Rate daily for… let me check… for 10 currencies *roll eyes* !! And I also track the company’s share prices… *yawn* When I started the task at the beginning, I kept on forgetting to track it daily… always missed once and twice in a week!! Oppss… But, now… Malays say… Alah bisa, tegal biasa… By the way, what's the English version of it yaa?? *wink-wink*

Rite after I finished with the analysis… My boss dumped the Board Paper back to me for amendments… Wow… It’s a lot of amendments ok… He really put in details!! Gishh… But, my eyes are really tired now... The charts for the 12-mths analysis are really giving my eyes hard time!! Checkout the outcome rite at the end of the entry… *roll eyes* Brain is no more functionally operating at the moment… Both eyes and brain and even the body need to rest liao… I think I keep the amendments for tomorrow then... *sleepy eyes*

Plus… I’m fasting!!! Go go girl… I can do it!!! It's pay back time for last year's debts… Another 6 days to go… I tried to fast on Monday and I made it… So, this is my second attempt. Another 2.5 hours for Sungkai!! Don’t worry Baby… mummy won’t do it 6 days straight… Err… how ‘bout fasting on Mon, Wed and Fri for the next two weeks and mummy would be able to cover all the ‘debts’ before the next Ramadhan??!! Thanks Baby… Yeah… sure we can!! But, still we have to do it daily next mth... ^_^

Tadaa... That's the outcome of the analysis! Should have zoom the chart for your eyes!! Pretty messy huh?? I've tried my best ok... The Finance Manager is welcome to do it herself if not satisfied...

Climbin' the Mount Kinabalu

MOUNT KINABALU… LOW’S PEAK… Have u ever been there??? Have you ever climb the Mount Kinabalu??? Gunung yang jadi kebanggaan urg Sabah??!! Never??? Give yourself a try then… It’s a challenge!!

Some says… it’s not that difficult as tracks are provided… You can say whatever you want… But, to me... being at the peak for two times… the experiences are precious!! Ok… I won’t lie… I did mutter during the climbing because it was really tiring… But, after all… I enjoyed the journey very much…

My first climbing was on Jan 1998 (10 yrs ago!!), rite after the SPM… all 10 of us (all gals) ardently went for the mountain climbing… Believe it or not… I did not do any exercise as a preparation for the climbing… Physically unprepared!! Only 3 out of 10 of us managed to finish the journey to the peak - Joceline, Merlinda and Me!! Thanks to the SPIRIT and WILL that lead me throughout the journey. The rest were all surrendered and waited for us at Gunting Lagadan. My mom, aunts and cousins were surprised of my victory too… Ciss… Ingat sia nda buli naik ka??!!! LOL

Second climbing was on March 1999 … Can’t remember how many of us… And the worst part is… it was raining!! Gishh… It was really cold and the tracks were slippery. But still I made it to the peak! This round, I wanted to thanks my ex for his assistance!! I won’t be able to make it without him… I almost surrendered!! Poor Mia too… She was having hard time on our way back to Timpohon. Glad that my ex was kind enough to help… *grin*

Now… after 10 years… I don’t think I can climb again!! Luckily I made it duuuuluuuuu… LOL

My bro and his friends are planning to go for the climbing some times next year… Since, I am very free at the office… I’ve been browsing the net since last week, hoping to get the best package for them… *wink-wink* To my surprise… the packages offered are pricey!! RM800 and above for a 2D1N package??!! *roll eyes* Ya laa… before this, person in charge will ask who is interested to join, give their name and pay to confirm… So, I never really bother lor… *sigh*

I wish I could paste few pics over here…. Unfortunately, have not scanned them yet… Copied the above pic from other…Sorry… *blush*

Procedures vs Barriers

Well… I think I have done with the task given by my Boss yesterday… Basically, preparing the Board Paper is mainly summarizing and extracting info from agreements or other sources. Format would be something as the following:

1.0 Introduction
2.0 Background
3.0 Salient Terms of Agreement
4.0 Status of Progress
5.0 Approval Required
And so on la… depends on your input…

Once info is extracted, tadaaa….. you’re done!!! Mcm sinang ja kunun... pdhal crack jugak kepala mau susun ayat!!! *roll eyes* Boss is there to fine tuning it what… At least, the frame is there already lor… *wink-wink*

Now, let me talk ‘bout the assignment given to me by the Company Secretary (COSEC)… Our Manufacturing Division is actually in the midst of setting up an office in China. So, it is standard to have all the secretarial docs in place for the setting up of office purposes. Here comes all the fussiness… again PROCEDURES that we are talking ‘bout here… *sigh*

Standard procedures in respect of the docs arrangement when it involves foreign countries :

STEP 1 : Make copies of the relevant docs to be notarized / certified by the Notary Public

STEP 2 : The relevant docs need to be translated (in this case, Chinese/Mandarin of coz!) by Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia (ITNM)

STEP 3: Both the notarized and translated copies will need to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)

STEP 4: Finally, the authenticated docs by MOFA to be endorsed by the respective embassy (in this case, China Embassy!)

Even there are only FOUR STEPS, pardon me… but, do I just mentioned the word ONLY??!!! Ok… Even there are only four steps… but the balls go round… ntah bahasa kiasan apa sdh yg terkeluar ni….

Barriers in each of the STEP above :

1. We have quite a numbers of Notary Publics’ contacts in hand. But, of coz always go for the cheapest fees mah… (the COSEC is VERY STINGY!! She is trying to save even 10 cent for the Co!!) Unfortunately, the Notary Public with the cheapest fees in town (kunun!!) is off for the whole week as he is not feeling well…

2. The rest are pretty pricey as they are charging RM50-RM80 per signature and even worst charging per word basis for sighting the docs??!! Nonsense!!!

3. Might opt for the RM50 per signature lor… Unless COSEC is ok to wait till next week after the cheapest Notary Public is recovered!

1. Translation charges will be the issue here… really pricey!!! 7 pages of docs may cost you RM800++??!!

2. Since ITNM is the only recognized translation institutional by the government, no choice lor…

3. Time frame of translation… of coz la tingu brp tebal tu docs kan… 7 pages within 4 days… hmmm…

1. I hate calling the government agencies… always no one answering the phone!! Grrr…

2. I think the fees is standard RM30 per docs… Duit lagik…

1. I hate calling the embassies too… I think they are working less than 8 hours a day!! Sometimes especially Friday, they only work for half day!!!

2. Ambassador is always missing in action… so, who to endorse??? Hmmm…

Naa…. Pening kepala ka nda??!! Oya… don’t forget ‘bout the monies… have to fill up the requisition form too!! *Phew*

I really hate in doing the callings… So, please don’t offer me a Customer Service jobs… But, I did work as a Customer Service cum Data Entry in Astro 6 years ago for 2 months only… LOL

Boss vs Boredom

It has been almost 4 mths since my new boss joined the company and I’m not really ‘working’ during office hours ever since he joined… Mmm… ‘Working’ in the sense of really contributing my time & energy to the company… In other words, makan gaji buta bulat2!! It might be ok in the beginning… yeah, having fun googling the net, chatting ‘round, downloading MP3s, etc… and at the end (after few mths)… all these questions pop-up in my mind - daily…

* What to do today?
* What to search today?
* Who to chat today?
* What to chat today?

Now, you know how bored am I in the office huh?? *sigh* Everyday is like… I punch-in, wait for my lunch hour and I punch-out without doing anything in the interim… and I bet you know how’s the ‘excitement’ of being waiting and counting… *deep sigh*

My boss is just too busy to realize that he has an assistant to ease his burden!! Or perhaps… he is just a type of person that prefers to work on his own… Or perhaps... he is too shy to ask for favour… Should I remind him that he could forward things to me?? Hmm…

Anyway…finally today… he dropped by and asked…

Boss: Just, are you tight up today?
Me : Tight up?? Never!! (of coz it was in mind only la…) Nope. Anything?
Boss : I need you to do something challenging…
Me: And what is that?
Boss : Do you think you can do a Board Paper for me?? (Board Paper – report to be presented to the Board of Directors)
Me : I’ll try.
Boss : Ok, I’ll forward all the relevant docs to you and you just do a simple draft for me. You have the format don’t you?
Me : Yup (of coz I have. I was the one forwarded the format done by my previous boss to him)

Don’t you guys think he should always drop by and hand in stuff for me?? Luckily, the Company Secretary will on and off ask my favour if her assistant is too busy… (mmg selalu busy pun assistant dia tu… everyday pun tension!) and she has just gave me another assignment… I’ll talk ‘bout the assignment in my next post yaa… Need to review the docs for the Board Paper now…

Hospital oh Hospital

It was 7.30am when we reached the clinic yesterday. We went for my 6th check-up @ 29wks and also for the diabetes test (checking the glucose level). 1003 was my lucky number!! *wink-wink*

Since the diabetes test will only be done in Tuesday, so it was quite crowded yesterday. Most of the preggy women were there for the diabetes test!! I was the first one entered Room 7 – Bilik Pengambilan Darah at 8.30am!! Gishhhh… Siapa la suka kena jarum / ambil darah kan??? But, do I have the choice?? *sigh* After ‘donated’ my blood, I was asked to drink the Air Gula aka Glucose and waited for 2 hours before I have to ‘donate’ my blood again!! Grrrrr….

10.30am – after settled everything at the clinic, we rushed to HKL (Day Care Unit – Feto-Maternal Specialist) to see the specialist doctor as referred during my last visit. At first, I thought they would have given an appointment. The nurse asked me to wait for my turn instead! So, we waited and waited. It was 1pm when one of the nurses called and here’s the conversation :

Nurse: Puan dah makan belum??

Me: Shake my head.

Nurse : Puan pegi makan dulu, nanti datang balik la...

Me : Nak kena datang balik kul berape?

Nurse : Puan pegi je dulu makan. Sebab doctor pun nak pegi makan.

Hubby : So, nak datang balik kul berape? Kul 3pm ke 4pm?? (menyindir la ba tu!! He got really pissed-off ok!! He has to escape from his presentation that afternoon!)

Nurse : Eh, takde la… Doktor makan sekejap jer. Dalam setengah jam macam tu…

Me : Ok la… (pissed-off too… Cuba la dia kastau awal2 kan… she should have asked us to go for lunch earlier. Pls bear ni mind that I was fasting from night for the diabetes test ok!!) Grrrrr….
We walked away with unbearable frustration, irritation, anger dan yg sewaktu dengannya la... To ease all the negative feelings, we had our lunch at Secret Recipe. I ordered Fish & Chips (my fav!!), Brownies and plain water while my Hubby ordered Vietnamese Mee Soup, Cheese Green Apple Cake and Pepsi. Nyum-nyum… eheheheheh… Having great meals is really work to cool down your temper!!

We returned to the Day Care Unit at 2.30pm and surprised to see that the counter was tidy-up as if they are going to close soon - Dasar staff kerajaan… (upss… sorry if ada yg terasa!) and there was only an Indian couple waiting patiently at the lobby. Wonder if they had their lunch already as they were there we went ran-off!!! Nurse pulak buat2 nda nampak ja kami!! Are they blind or are we the one transparent??!!

“Hello… Doktor ade ke tak?” My Hubby was losing his temper again!!

“Ader… ader… Jap ek!!” That was the answer given!!

At last, my name was called at 3pm (since 11am??!!) Goshhh… Doctor did an ultrasound and I lied for almost 1 hour I guess. Baby still ‘shy-shy cat’ even the doctor tried to ‘play’ with him. So, the best is to set another appointment after 1 month. *sigh*

Sitting & waiting is really tiring!! We went home and doze-off… ZZZ…

Hubby oh Hubby

Hiii…. So, how’s weekend?? Well, I didn’t go anywhere… Hubby was working last Sat and Sun was his rest day!! *sigh* Yeah… I did mentioned in my previous post that I planned to go to the Cosway Warehouse Sales, but we didn’t make it though… *sigh again* So, only went to Pasar Malam on Sat nite and went for groceries shopping at Tesco on Sun morning. Boring activities huh??!!

Hubby’s working schedule is quite packed this month. He would have to attend a two-days training at the Concorde Hotel on this coming Fri (8th) and Sat (9th). He definitely wanna rest on Sun. So, I guess we (mom, bro and myself) will have another boring weekend lor… Of coz we can actually have our own plan & activities, but I still prefer if Hubby is around… *wink-wink* Luckily, I didn’t confirm with the Hospital to attend the Antenatal Class on Sat… Hubby can’t make it though… *sigh*

Hubby also will be having an English Classes commencing from Aug, 28th to Dec, 18th on weekly basis. Classes start from 5.30pm (after office hour) to 7pm. Since September is the fasting month, classes start from 12.30pm to 2pm. Starting Oct, I think I don’t have to worry so much about his ‘calendar’ and working hours as I’ll be on my two-months maternity leaves already… Heheheh… Otherwise, every time hubby working late (OT), I’ll have to wait for him… *phew*

In Nov, they might have another outing – Annual Department Outing!! Hmm… He won’t be joining the outing I guess… He needs to be around with baby and me ok!! Hehehe… I know he has been working hard for our family and he deserves some sort of leisure & relaxation with friends… But, not this time pls… Am I too selfish??!! I hope not… ^_^ Besides, it’s just a lil’ favour from his beloved wife… ;p

P/s : Love you, Dear…

Redang Island

After a DAMN boring half-day morning, the IT guy finally arrived dengan muka selamber (outsourced IT mah…) and managed to fix my PC. “Disk boot failure. Insert system disk and press Enter”. That’s what stated on the monitor when I switched it on this morning. Grrrr…

As I mentioned in my previous post, Hubby and my bro went for a 3D2N co annual trip to Redang Island, Terengganu from July, 27th to 29th. Jelesnyaaa… If they can’t make it for co trip, they’ll go for annual dinner…. At least, something la kan… My co??? Jgn harap la…

A brief info on Redang Island… Located in the South China Sea off the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It lies about 45km north-northeast of Kuala Terengganu, the state capital of Terengganu, and about 22km off Tanjung Merang, the closest point on the mainland.

White sandy beaches, crystal clear blue sea, brilliant underwater world… Redang archipelago comprises 9 islands (Lima Island, Paku Besar Island, Paku Kecil Island, Kerengga Besar Island, Kerengga Kecil Island, Ekor Tebu Island, Ling Island, Pinang Island and the main Redang Island) that abound with marvelous marine fishes, turtles and coral reefs that ensure great snorkeling and scuba-diving… *wink-wink*

Check-out some of the photos taken in Redang… ^_^

Laguna Redang Island Resort

The house marked with X is knowned as More More Tea Inn which was rebuilt with the exact architecture as a remembrance to a Hong Kong movie - Summer Holiday shot in year 1999 starring Sammie Cheng & Richie Ren (I love Sammie Cheng!!)
