Retired... Retrench... Resign...

Our company was taken over by one of the largest automotive company in town!

That was the shocking news to all of us last Thursday!

After signing the agreement with the investment banker early morning last Thursday, my dearly Datuk called for a BOD Meeting at 10am, forcing all directors to come down to the office within an hour. But, yeahh… they must have been informed earlier I guess.

Next, Datuk also called for a HOD Meeting at 2.30pm. All HODs gathered, wondering what it is all about. Some knows and some don’t.

I myself was forced to join them as well. Taking minutes of meeting is what I supposed to do. *sigh*

Of coz, being the Group Managing Director and co-founder of the company, Datuk is suppose to announce the news to all HODs and to convince all of us that the change in the company's shareholdings is for the good of the company and there will be no changes in the management teams. Well, I guess everything will still remain unchanged for the time being.

Employees being employees, we can’t help but to worry especially the old-loyal staff who some of them will be retired in couple of years. What if some of us were asked to retrench? *faint*

For few days, the puzzle among us still there! What make my Datuk sold his shares to others?? The company is his own titik peluh ok! But we guess, he is getting older and no one is taking over the responsibility. He only has 2 sons; one is a doctor who is now having his own family in Singapore and the other son is still single, working in the banking industry.

Datuk’s other siblings? Yes, he has quite a no of brothers and sisters. One of the sisters is stationed here. But, she too is getting old. Other brothers are the shareholders only. None of them and the children interested to run the company.

So I guess… disposing the shares to other company is the only way. Let the other party operate the company. At least, the company is still exist even Datuk is no longer around. *sigh*

Kaya pun kalau lonely (without family’s support), ini lah jadinya!
Let just hope that we, the employees will be ok. But I think it’s time for me to move on to somewhere else. *wink*

Best Line to Flirt With Someone!

What’s yours??

Don’t laugh when you read mine…

“Nice song! Mind to bluetooth to my hp?”

Hahahahaa… I told you not to laugh rite? Ok, I’m might not good in flirting. *cough* However, with this line, I WON MYSELF A MAKE-UP SET OF STAGE FLORAL PRODUCTS WORTH RM450. Wow!!! Cool huh?!

An email notification received from the contest organizer – The BubbleeBIZZ Magazine, last week really cheered up my day! *smiling ear-to-ear*

The free magazine collected at Masjid Jamek LRT Station

Of coz when one enters a contest, they will definitely wish that they will win it. Same goes with me. AND to win it, even though it’s not the grand prize, I FEEL REEEEEAAAALLY GOOD!! *grin*

When I checked the website, I saw this one name that is very familiar. I think it belongs to my blogger friend – Nora. She won the same product except that she is one of the Grand Prize Winners! She did update her blog. However, she talked ‘bout some other contest she won from the same magazine but nothing on the Stage.

I emailed her to double confirm if I got her name correctly and of coz to congratz her too. Apparently, she has no idea ‘bout it! Thanks to me I guess. Hehehehe…

So, we promised to collect the prize together since our office pun dekat-dekat ja. We made it yesterday!! Sikit lagi cancel! Hehehe…

The winners - Nora and Me

We headed back to Ampang Park after collecting our winning prizes at MidValley. And the funny part is, Nora thought that we are going back from work. She was about to step out from the train when the train stopped at Masjid Jamek. *smile*

Instead of going back directly to our office, kita makan duluuuuuuu… Had our lunch at Papparoti since McD and KFC were full! While waiting for our foods, we took the chance to peep at our boxes. With the diff of RM200, I do not have foundation, eye lash curler, brow defining pencil and RM100 Makeover Voucher in my box!! *sigh* Otherwise, kita buli pigi makeover sama-sama kan Nora.

The winning prize - Stage Flora Product

Anyway, thanks for the lunch treat Nora. *smile*

And we went to...

It’s Friday and the best part is… I’m single mingle today! Ouchh… meaning?? Single in the sense of my dear Datuk is outstation today! Freedom! (for today lah!) *grin*

Ok… so, let’s talk bout my family’s trip last Friday. Tiba2 teringat pulak the-cancelled-trip to Kuching. *sigh*

Ok ok… Forget bout the Kuching! Shall we? Or is it shall I? Hehehe…

So, we started our journey at 9.30am that day… within an hour, here we are…

Hello Colmar Tropicale!! The French-themed Resort in Pahang!

Guys, I made it, finally!! *smiling ear-to-ear*

At the entrance. Poor Rayyan. Mabuk jalan sikit time baru sampai tu. But after he had his porridge, he gained his energy back!

Of coz I’m happy to be here for I’ve dreaming to be here for sooooooo long (ceh!).

Hubby found the place is quite bored coz there is nothing exciting over there. It’s indeed a very quiet and peaceful place to be. I, on the other hand enjoyed the building and landscape. Not going to elaborate further as you guys could easily google 'bout it.

Tu 'cucut' jugak la yg menang. Hahaha...

The family pic

Sad to say that we missed the Japanese Village! Pls don't ask why... *sigh*

Mingled around for about 1.5 hour before we continued our journey to…

Guess where??

I Am First Class!

Well, I suppose to post an entry 'bout my next-day-trip today, however due to kerajinan yang melanda, I don't feel like ranting bout it pulak...

However, I would like to share something with you guys today. I actually received an email from a friend this morning and I find it quite insteresting and motivational.

Warning : Lenghty article!

A very valuable lesson to learn...

Interesting quote from the movie "Why did I get married?"

In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship. There is always another person (man or women) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT. And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship.

But the problem is that you will always be tempted to leave that good 80% that you know you have, thinking that you will get something better with the other 20% that you WANT. But as reality has proven, in most cases, you will always end up with having the 20% that you WANT and loosing the 80% that you really NEED and that you already had.

Be careful in deciding between what you WANT and NEED in your life.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have. "Wow, this girl in my office is a real looker. But it's not her Wynona Rider features that got me. I'm crazy about her because she's also understanding, intelligent, tender - so many things that my spouse is not"

Somewhere along the way, you'll find a woman or a man who will be more charming or sensitive. More alluring. More thoughtful. Richer. Have greater sex appeal. And you will find a woman or man who will need you and pursue you and go loco over you more than your spouse ever did.

Because no wife or husband is perfect. Because a spouse will only have 80% of what you're looking for. So adultery takes place when a husband or wife looks for the missing 20%. Let's say your wife is melancholic by nature.

You may find yourself drawn to the pretty clerk who has a cherry laugh no matter what she says: "I broke my arm yesterday, Hahahaha . . .."

Or because your wife is a homebody in slippers and pajamas, smelling of garlic and fish oil, you may fall for a fresh-smelling young sales representative that visits your office in a sharp black blazer, high heels, and a red pencil-cut skirt Or because your husband is the quiet type, your heart may skip a beat when you meet an old college flame who has the makings of a talk show host.

But wait! That's only 20% of what you don't have.

Don't throw away the 80% that you already have!

That's not all. Add to your spouse's 80% the 100% that represents all the years that you have been with each other. The storms you have weathered together. The unforgettable moments of sadness and joy as a couple. The many adjustments you have made to love the other. The wealth of memories that you've accumulated as lovers.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have.

But faithfulness happens when you start thanking God for what you already have.

But I'm not just talking about marriage. I'm talking about life!

About your jobs.
About your friends.
About your children.
About your lifestyles.

Are you like the economy airline passenger that perennially peeks through the door of the first class cabin, obsessed with what he's missing? "They have got more leg room! Oh my, their food is served in porcelain! Wow, their seats recline at an 80% angle and they've got personal videos!"

I guarantee you'll be miserable for the entire trip! Don't live your life like that. Forget about what the world says is first class. Do you know that there are many first class passengers who are miserable in first class -- because they are not riding in a private Lear Jet?

The main message???

If you start appreciating what you have right now, wherever you are, you are first class!

The Recovered Me... ceh!

I’m back and ‘recovered’…

Even though we didn’t make it to Kuching, I didn’t cancel my leaves. We still can plan for something else kan.. *smile*

So, the next day, after spending first half of the day at home, we decided to go for shopping at IOI Mall, Puchong. Since we are not familiar with that area and the last time we went there were few years back, we hardly recalled the route. Ouchhh… Sempat jugak la sesat! Hahaha…

Did I say shopping?? Hmm… I think only hubby managed to grab a jeans for him and nothing for the rest of us. *sigh* Opss… there are something for us. Slippers which cost us RM2.90 per pair! Hahahah…

Some pix of Rayyan taken at Jusco that day.

Soo tiny to be inside the stomach of Doraemon...

Exclude this pix which was taken at home... geram tgk muka dia..

The next day, our journey continued to….

Wait till my next post… chao… *smile*
