The whipped cream..

I made 2 types of creams for my cream puff from the same ingredients. What make them different is the texture of the cream.

Lets start with the recipe again..

1 cup of dairy whipping cream
1/3 cup of icing sugar
1tsp of vanilla essence

The method:
Stir dairy whipping cream until soft peak. 
Add in icing sugar and vanilla essence.
Stir until you get stiff peak.
Chill in refrigerator.

Cream A - before chill

After I get stiff peak, I thought that I should stir a lil bit more. However, I was surprised to see the texture. Macam kental-kental + lemak whipping cream. Terlebih pukul ka?? Huhuhuuh... Nevertheless, I still keep it in the refrigerator. 

Cream A  - after chilled.
I think this should be the correct cream texture.
But, is it correct to have the whipping cream's fat

So, I decided to re-do the whole thing again. 

Cream B
But this one (Cream B) is quite soft and melting. Hmmm...

Here's what I get after spooned the cream into the cream puff.

L : Cream B
R : Cream A

Any idea, what went wrong? Is it the whipping cream? Less sugar?? The speed of whisking? The duration of whisking? Hmm.. Any expert here??

Really need to try other recipe & method for whipping cream la in future!

  1. owhhh... thanks ya.. bila nak cuba buat ni.. ape pun kena cari bahan dlu.. apa pun tarak kat umah.. anak pompuan dah sibok tanya.. lama tak makan cream puff.. mamanya plak balik umah tempek je resepi kat peti sejuk.. semua tu on Q untuk di eksperimenkan lah..

  4. Sis, hubby sa ckp palan2 kasi taruh/ campur tu bahan-bahan time ko bergaul. If you taruh satu kali trus jadi kental-kental.

    Haizzz, ko imagine bah, laki sa yang advise ni. Sa nda tau mcmmn dia tau :P

    But, try lah. Palan-palan or satu-satu taruh tu bahan sambil ko whipping. ;)
