Ice Watch Night Run 2015

The last run event of the year held on 5/12/15 at Shah Alam. Night run punya pasal, bayar lebih sikit pun sanggup.. Hhuhu..

It was our (Tunung and I) first 'walking' activity ever since the Avon Walk in 2012.. Oppss.. to exclude DC of coz. Hahaha.. Lama tidak bergether-gether berdua sama Tunung these days. Thanks moy sbb jadi pacer sya.

Lucky, there is no time chip for this run. Otherwise, Tunung would have leave me running alone. Hahaha..

The organizer provided each participant with 2 pcs of the glow sticks but those sticks didn't really glowing. Expired sudah kali. Hahahah... I actually bought 2 packets of glow sticks at DIY. RM1.50 per pack of 3 pcs. Murah kan?? Rasa-rasa tidak cukup, beli lagi di PKNS. RM4.20 for 5-6 slim-glow-in-the-dark bracelets. Tapi, tidak glowing pun.. haizzz...

Heart the medal!
Anyway, we had nice 'walk' that nite. Till next run next year!

Fit Malaysia Run 2015

After almost half year, I finally ‘run’ again!

It was my first run after induced-menopause. I am pretty sure that my stamina is not as good as before. Definitely, I will walk more than run. Hahaha…

The Fit Malaysia Run took place at Dataran Petaling Jaya, Padang Timur supposed held in Sept, eventually postponed to 15 November 2015. We thought that the event will be cancelled. It was a free participation anyway. Haha…

No running-T provided. Free maaa... The bib has time chip tho’. Medal for finisher is the main target. Hahaha!

4th medal of the year

Muka gilerr penat..

Since the run started off at 8am, Lin and I were struggling to the max to finish the run. It was hot and the uphill route was tough. Plus, there were only 2 water stations. The first station was after 5km+! They don’t have enough isotonic drinks for those behind! Sigh.. Surprisingly, we finished the run at the same time frame as our previous runs! Hahahah…

We met Tunung at the Finish Line. We can never beat Tunung! She is fast! Fuhhh…

Another run next week...

Ryanna on Stage!

How I wish.. How I wish.. How I wish I can watch my lil cutey performing on stage for her Children's Graduation & Concert Day held at Port View Palace Hall, Tg Lipat on 10 Nov 2015.

She did teach me the dance steps when I was in KK for Rayyan's birthday end of Oct tho'.

I can't stand it for not be able to be around them for their big day. It's a moral support & motivation for our kids. Rite?!

With Class Teacher, Ms Chung

I will definitely be there for her on her graduation day next year.
Still feeling frustrated up till now and even worst coz I didn't make it for Rayyan too. Will rant later..

Jalan-Jalan Merdeka – Port Dickson

Jom sambung citer yg sudah basi ini.. Haihh.. Part 1, klik sini.

After breakfast at our hotel, we thought of going to the Upside Down House in Melaka. (Ada rupanya Rumah Terbalik di Melaka?!) But, then, we skipped that and headed direct to PD.

Anyway for info.. the Upside Down House details as following :

Address : G12 &G14, Jalan PM7, Plaza Mahkota, Bandar Hilir
Operation Hours : 10am – 6pm (Mon-Thurs) / 10am – 9pm (Fri-Sun & PH)
Entrance Fees : RM15 (A) / RM10 (C)

On our way to PD, we stopped by at Masbro Village. The unique and colorful design of the ‘mini resort’ should have been inspired by the huts at Brighton Beach in Melbourne. Terus teringat citer Kusinero Cinta. Alaa.. citer lakonan Aaron Aziz, Jericho Rosales & Tiz Zaqyah tu.

The mini resort looks very attractive from the photos we seen from FB & internet. But when I reached the place, I was like.. “ini jer??” Betul2 tepi jalan.. Lokasi agak kureng kot and view pun x brp nak best. Oppss.. terlebih sudah!

Dari tepi jalan.. macam ni la rupa dia..
Kat belakang tu ada lagi under construction..
After done with our lunch at PD, we entered PD Ostrich Show Farm. Before that, we were considering to enter the Alive 3D Art Gallery and another rumah terbalik (Upside Down Art Gallery) in PD too.

From outside, mcm kureng menarik.. So, we skipped these two!

From the net, people were having great time taking photos inside both
Rumah Terbalik in Melaka & PD
Unlike Sabah's, visitors were not allowed to take any photos inside the house previously.
But I heard now, there is a corner inside that you can take photo.
Somehow, I still prefer Rumah Terbalik Sabah. Coz betul2 rumah sebiji tebalik! Hehehe..

So, instead of those two above, we chose Ostrich Farm. The entrance fee is RM8 (adult) if not mistaken. Hazim, Lia’s son had fun wandering at the park.

After that, the mission to hunt for hotel began! It was a last minute plan to overnight in PD. Gosh! It was National Day’eve ok. We went to Eagle Ranch Resort first. Unfortunately, we were late by few seconds. The last available room was taken! Arghhh… Otherwise, we will be staying at one of the Tepee!

Macam best je kalau dapat stay sini
Finally, we managed to secure a room at Mesra Hotel. You can’t expect more from a shop-lot hotel. Yang penting, ada tempat tidur.

After refreshing & dinner, we headed to Dataran Teluk Kemang. Lepak2 layan ‘konsert’. Kalau artis yang perform, mesti lagi gempak! Tiba-tiba rasa muda balik. Lama x lepak2 mcm ni. Hahahaha.. Tunggu smpai habis bunga api, then blk hotel tdo!

Malam Ambang Merdeka 2015 @ Dataran Teluk Kemang
Next day, before back to KL, Lia was hunting for Melaka’s gula Melaka, last minute order by the sisters. Since we can’t find it in PD, we had a u-turned and made all the way to Pengkalan Balak! Cari pasal betul la! Lucky we found them. Phewww…

Pengkalan Balak
More or less feel dia mcm kat Pangkor plak..
Headed back to KL with peace of mind. Kunun! Hahaha..

Siap jg entry ni.. huhuhu..

WW ~ Screen Magnifier

I first saw it in FB price approx RM79
I'm kinda desperately need it.. kekeke...
So, when a friend told me that she saw that item in Groupon
and it was only RM35..
Melompat terus!
Drama Korea punya pasal! Hahaha..
But I think it only worth max RM25
Very light and fragile
Quality so-so only
I think if the screen is glass, sure make lot of difference.
Benda masih baru di pasaran
So if you want, wait till the price drop..
Just my 2 cents..

Jalan-Jalan Merdeka : Melaka

“Beb, jom p Melaka hjg mggu ni!”

That was what my friend, Lia whatsapp-ed me 3 days before Merdeka’s weekend. Dia ni memang!

Friday evening, I took bus from KL Sentral to KLIA2. Perasan touch down flight gitu!  Hahahah.. Lia fetched me there coz she stays in Banting. So, it will be nearer to head to Melaka.

The next day, 29/8/2015 (Sat), we departed as early as 7.30am. Punya semangat! After breakfast-stop at R&R Seremban, we arrive Melaka at about 10am! My last ‘official’ visit to Melaka was back in 2008! Fuhhh…

We had a gateway to Taman MiniMalaysia and A’Famosa Resort in 2011, and attended a wedding reception at BukitKatil Melaka in 2013 but we didn’t make it to Melaka Town.

So, I’m quite excited to explore Melaka again!

We parked car at Menara Taming Sari area and wandered around. Guess what, the Menara Taming Sari is still not exist back in 2008!

Nope, we didn’t take the ride of the Menara Taming Sari. We rode trishaw instead! It was my very first trishaw riding ever. It cost us RM25 per ride which cover 3 pit-stops. From Menara Taming Sari, stopped at Taman Merdeka, A’Famosa & Stadthuys.

@ Taman Merdeka

A'Famosa still standing strong since 1511

At Stadthuys, we lepak at the river side, opposite Stadthuys. Had an ice-cream & cendol, just to recharge energy. Hehehe… And proceed walked along the Melaka River.

Photo session at Pirate Park before headed to Muzium Samudera. The Pirate Park also a new spot. The Muzium Samudera is getting ‘old’ anyway. Entrance fee is RM5 for MyKad holder (adult).

@ Pirate Park

@ Muzium Samudera
The Maritime Museum
Replica of a Portugese ship named Flora de La Mar
It’s the end of 1st session before we decided to check-in to hotel and refresh ourselves. So, 7 Day Inn it is! The hotel is located adjacent to The Shore. Walking distance bout 10-15mins to the abovementioned tourist attraction places.

Love the room!

2nd session, sesi membakar lemak! LOL.. we walked to Jonker Street. Sempat la ambik gambar di Hard Rock Café. For record, Jonker Street also still not exist back in 2008. Or maybe it was just a normal-kinda pasar malam back then.

@ Jonker Walk

Back to hotel and we drove to Hajjah Mona Asam Pedas, Tmn Kota Laksamana, recommended place to eat. Since parking was a big prob, we have to make another big round and stuck in jammed! I would say it was kinda late dinner.

Asam Pedas Daging Tetel @ Hajjah Mona Asam Pedas
Zzzzzzz...

Ok.. I better post on our 2nd day asap! It's already staling! Ggrrrrr...

Re-visiting UPM after 12 years!

Wanted to share bout my so-called Merdeka’s getaway, but I’m more excited to rant bout UPM! Hahaha…

Since graduated in year 2002, went to UPM again the following year to attend my cousin’s convocation. Since then, I never visit UPM anymore. Padahal, stay KL saja pun! Makin dekat tempat tu, makin tidak kesampaian. *sigh*

Lepaking with my aunt last Saturday. To my surprise, she wanted to ‘explore’ the routes to UPM. Waaa… punya excited!! It’s been 12 years ok!

WELCOME TO UPM!
Signage towards PALAPES
I can’t describe how I feel as soon as we reached UPM’s compound. I was happy. I was excited. At the same time, sedih & syahdu pun ada. I missed those days. I might be passive most of the time. Yet, I enjoyed & treasure all the friendships and hardship to complete all assignments & tasks. Mixed feelings!

After all these years, the faculty still looks the same.
There were a lot of changes in the campus. However, my faculty – Fakulti Bahasa Moden & Komunikasi remained as it is; except additional of rest area at the end of lecturer’s block. The bilik kuliah is getting old from outside. I can imagine myself, being one of the freshies standing outside the dewan kuliah with naïve-looking-faces. Hahahahah… Those were the days huh?!

The only bilik kuliah that I miss damn much!
Maybe becoz most of the classes were held at this room back then
Oh my! Those benches are antic!
I wish we could enter the kolej kediaman & other faculties’ area, but we are not allowed to. Huhuhu..

Some throw back entries :

My Bodyguard
My Matrix Card
My Bed

I feel oooold! Hahaha..
